well sorry for the delay but after being up from 4.30 and having to drive to er i was knackered last night

arrived at ER in good time to get my one pint in the conf centre and listen to mick jones talks a lot of sense about naylor and the defence said naylors 99% sure to join perminantly said he hoped we could get dickinson on a season loan but didnt know where we stand on it when asked what he thought of trundle he said we should sign him then started to say something about the price being to high a quick change of subject by lorimer to a mach prediction of 3-0

well the match kicked off we scored crowd in good voice rui scores everyones happy though i thought it was snowing with all the torn up betting slips arround me (come on who was going to predict rui for the first goal) a few minutes later we get another corner
i saw trundle run for the short corner and scream dont take it short FFS

sake was just leaving my lips when naylor heads home wtf do i know we spent the rest of the half playing macca football loads of possesion but little real penetration
second half we over complicated and some of the things becks and trundle tried had they come off would have had the crowd droolling but heres the thing they didnt

but a wins a win

Ankergren: 6 not a lot to do did flap at one cross but made one great save
Hughes: 5 not a fullback but run his nuts off as always
Naylor: 8.5 MOM We must sign this guy
Marques: 7 did well only spotted i mistake
Dickinson: 7 did his job needs to get forward more
Robinson: 6 bright worked hard for 60mins but little came off
Douglas: 8 one of his better games solid
Delph: 7 seems to sit deep in the first half under larry quiet by his standards
Johnson: 6 worked hard on the left tackled well but did not create enough
Beckford: 6.5 tried to be too flash at times but was denied a pen near the end
Trundle: 6 same as beckford

subs all 6 came on too late to influence the game

grayson 7 left subs too late imo but we won and kept a clean sheet

more of the same please larry

Agree with you WW, although I thought Caspers double save in the second half was quality, his distribution is also improving slightly too (7)!

Crowd seemed well up for it pre-kickoff, singing for almost all our players and getting applause from said players. Went 2-0 up was expecting a party and a few more goals... unfortunately so it seems was everyone else and it went dead with nothing to get overly excited about.

Still as I've already said, 2-0, clean sheet, another win, cutting the gap between us and second. Game on.
