Scunthorpe

where to start

a game of everything leeds united. ups downs cheating refs dodgy decisions
first half we were 2-0 up and looking good going forward lightwieght in the middle and reasonable at the back despite a ref who seemed determined to ensure we didnt win from my view in N5 there first goal looked like a hand ball and im sure casper stopped and appealed of course we never got the decsision then they equalised and a scrappy game ensued beckford scored the winner ref looked long and hard at the linesman but he kept his flag down howson got sent off a bit harsh but were leeds united what do you expect

. We can still look very vulnerable in defence but the ruthlessness of Beckford and the grit and perseverance of Snodgrass are almost irresistible.

Ankergren – 6 – His failure to command his area resulted in their first goal but he pulled off a great save towards the end.

Douglas – 7 – Didn’t look uncomfortable at RB but he needs a few more games to grow into the position..

Naylor – 7 – Their big striker gave him some problems but he held out well.

Marques – 5 – A few good tackles but clearances were fairly wild. I don’t think he’s good enough.

Parker – 5 – Probably his poorest performance. At fault for the second goal and looked uncomfortable. But im not sure about the  alternatives in this position

Howson – 6.5 – In and out of the game, mostly in his late rash tackle was definitely a bookable offence.

Robinson – 5 – Didn’t seem to be clicking with Douglas but he went off too early to have had any effect.

Johnson – 6.5 – Looks the part but didnt do enough  to impress.

Delph – 6 – Not as effective as he was earlier in the season; he’s beginning to look ordinary without some protection

Kilkenny - 6 - Looked comfortable at times  Faded as the game got more physical

Snodgrass –8.5 - All over the pitch. Great commitment and skill. Was involved in all the goals. MOM

Beckford – 8 – Ruthless in his finishing, unlucky not to get a hat-trick. Needs to manage his attitude but he always looked dangerous.

Trundle – 3 – Made no impact and rarely touched the ball but did hold the ball up for the winner

lubo- 5 no time but looked solid

all in all 3points and nothing matters more at the moment same again on monday please
