posh home

well what a difference a month makes

game kicked off and we were at um straight away first half we were solid without being over threatning in fact after there good spell around 20 mins we got back on top and at half time i thought we had the better of the first half

went for my pie and bovril and only got charged for the bovril result

second half started even but within 15 mins we got on top beckford came on and scored 2 they pulled one back and howson sealed the win after 10 mins were our right side looked a class above

my overall impression was for the first time this season we looked solid at the back solid in the middle and when beckford came on class up front

Casper-7 didnt do anything wrong 1 great save still needs to work on is distribution
Hughes-7-solid, .
Naylor-9-won everything and organised, what we've been missing.Sign him up.
Rui-7- back to himself with decent players around him.
Dickinson-7- very solid
Robinson-7- caused them problems and worked hard too. but was knackered in the last 15mins
Delph-8-class
Douglas-7-hard work, protected back 4.
Johnson-6-worked hard defended well in the first half got forward more in the second
Becchio-6-wasnt his day perhaps he needs a rest
Trundle-7-class, caused them all sorts of problems.

Beckford-8.5 -changed the game. showed what we have been missing
Howson-7-sealed the win.and looked the player we all hoped he could be
Snodgrass-6-not much time but set up goal.

grayson 8 good subs at the right time he is always saying we need to earn the right to play well today leeds united did and when they did the class was there for all to see

for the first time since august i believe we can go up all i have ever asked of leeds is that they give me something to believe in today they did

for the first time i say with more expectaion than hope whether its through the playoffs or automatic i believe were going up

'Rui-7- back to himself with decent players around him'...i've been saying he'd be better with better players round him for weeks!!! Very Happy

Casper 7, solid

Hughes 6- gets sucked in far too easily. Cant blame him because he's not a right back and will fill in where ever he is asked to play.

Naylor 9. Brilliant, massive block at 2-1 to shut them out.

Rui 6.5. At times looks to be getting better then does something stupid and switches off. Some good recovery tackles, but let them in in the first place.

Dickenson 7- Good player, felt a lot more confident when players were running at him, whihc i haven't felt over the last few months with the other 2 left backs.

Robbo 7. One of his best games for Leeds, just wish he could do it more often, has so much ability.

Duggy 9. Unsung hero, nuff said

Delph 7. Brillaint in patches, still learning, the game sometimes gets played "around him", i.e ball watching, headless chicken at times, but he's only young. Looks at his best when the game is open and he has space

BJ 6- Did,nt look fit or interested?????

Becchio 6- Usual work effort, cant fault, seemed to battle with little effect, maybe too similar to Trundle

Trundle 7.5. Good game, looked up for it and has bags of skill, should have scored at 1-0, glas it dint came back to bite us.

Beckford 8.5. Obviously changed the game, gets the crowd going, although i'm not his biggest fan he did it on saturday
