Got feeling it,l be a live tv game....
Could well have a chance as scouse around that period start there champions league campaign,so may well rest few of there bigger named players...
lets hope in few years time we,re playing them in the league,have had some great games v them in top flight,home and away...

£15 a ticket too Bates - reward us fans for once.
Over the moon about the draw, will pull in the crowd.
One thing I've noticed is the game not scheduled the week we play Norwich on the Monday? Will we be playing Monday and Wednesday night - both on T.V?

I think it's inbetween the Gillingham and MK games in september mate. Norwich is in October!
Should be a cracking game whatver the result. Hopefully get a ticket in the Kop for this, but I'm not too confident of that!

Snoddy and Kisnorbo shone out for me,higgs pulled off a great save...
Rest of team did ok,shame beckford didn,t take chance in 2nd half.....
Fans as ever superb,seeing that tonight brought back memories of prem league days...
Lets hope its not to long til we play scouse again in premier league.....

Great performance. Shows that when we do inevitablt get promoted this season, we're def gonna be in the reckoning for promotion.
The last 6 months I've thought that with this team, the most difficult thing will be getting out of this league. Once we do it, we don't need to change on thing and we'd be better than half of the sides in the championship (weve shown it in the cup in the last year against sides like Palace, Derby and Watford.)
Anyway, brill performance, lets concentrate on the lague now and the MKdonalds on saturday.

Just back...great night..great atmosphere, kop didnt stop singing for 90 mins and still kept going as players went off. No shame tonight excellent performance against one of the best sides in the country. Great show of how far we've come under grayson.
Didnt hear a peep out of liverpool fans all game, dont think they are used to hearing a proper crowd in the premiership anymore.
Shame we didnt get the rub with what was a clear goal.
How kisnorbo is playing in league one i dont know, was absolutley magnificent again tonight. Grella looked like an animal when he came on and was skinning premiership players all over the place. All the lads did well though - would have like to see more from beckford but hey ho.
Proud to be a leeds fan tonight - only second game i've ever come away from feeling proud after a loss (other was also against liverpool funnily)
We're the greatest team in football......

Game was shown live on Fox Sports down under with Sky's coverage!, I miss Jeff Stelling, and nice to see Macca with Jeff too!
Got up at 4.30am expecting a bit of a one sided game but Im fucking proud of the lads for that performance, Fair play to the scousers too I think they showed us the respect we deserve, Im pretty gutted that goal was ruled out, nothing wrong with it and Birtles agreed.....on other days they would have stood. My first chance of seeing Higgs, Crowe, Kisnorbo and I have to say they all played their part, shame it was Crowe with the header and not Becchio though.
The lads did great, the fans were great, atmoshphere was like days of old!! - the only difference betwween the teams was the touch of class for their goal (the swivel and placement of the shot), i guess you could call it a rizla paper between them for 90mins besides the actual goal, and maybe Lubo could have done more but overall I cant complain one bit!!
Bring on MK Dons, We are going up!!!!!

Had a txt from a armchair liverpool fan last night,praising us and praising grayson after his interview on sky after the game for taking defeat well instead of moaning like a lot of prem league managers do......

Leeds and proud of it!
Was so proud of the team last night, everyone stood and performed against the Premier League runners up - ok it wasn't their strongest side but they still had Dutch, Argentinian and English internationals amother others playing.
I thought we matched them man for man throughout and at times we really did look the better team. The one tiny thing that lacked was that extra bit of quality in front of goal which we ultimately paid the price for.
I thought Kisnorbo, Snoddy and Hughes were all brilliant. Johnson was strong again as was Lubo. Becks and Bechhio ran the front line superbly. Howson didn't looked phased and crunched Gerrard at one point.
Last night wasn't like a defeat, last night showed we are strong enough to perform at a higher level and I now really think we're going up.
Fans were fantastic, can't wait to watch the rerun of the game on Sky in 45 minutes.
Nice to see you again John. I dunno how you got home at 10:50, we got stuck on the motorway where they decided to reduce the motorway to one lane, we we're only four miles from Leeds two hours after the match! Got home at 1:15am, only had one can left in the car too!

very happy with the performance,on another night we could well have edged it,good coments from the so called experts in the press and pundits.kisnorbo and snoddy were excellent but tbh they all did there bit and agree with sg by him saying how proud he was of the team.even got remarks at work today by how impressed they were of us (mind you they all support derby and forest so they aint used to much anyway)but all in all a good performance but now to the main focus of the league and the mk dons on sat.

Liverpool didnt know what hit them in the 1st half and Benitez didnt look happy at all. Id say they wernt expecting us to come out all guns blazing!
How Mascherano didnt get at least a yellow after elbowing beckford is a joke!
I say Bring on MK Dons! They deserve a thrashing after that humiliating defeat last season!!!!

Maybe about once a season for the last 5 or 6 years. couldnt go this time because I had to repeat an exam. but it was my dads bday and we surprised him with tickets to the Tranmere game in August. he said it was extra special because they won 3-0 and it was the best he had seen Leeds play in a long time. I would love to get over this season but Im in my final year of college so might not be possible plus Im a broke student!!!!
