Jay,s View v ExeterFirst game of the season, lots of excitement, lots of expectation and lots of anticipation.
Got down to the ground about half 2, had a few beers, had a chat with a few lads that I haven't seen since may and went to my seat about 5 to.
Leeds started very very lively, attempts hitting the bar, goal-bounds shots being deflected, exeter not getting a decent hold of possession. Beckford seemed to be playing quite deep to be honest, snodgrass was doing his usual role on the wing well, doyle's long passing seemed a bit wayward but his battling for the ball made up for it. Becchio was up every ball, Johnson attacking well and getting back well. The defence in all appeared solid and Higgs was only troubled once or twice. Leeds deserved the win a lot more than Exeter. We showed great strength, determination and confidence. We seemed to lack concentration at spells in the second half hence the goal, but we stuck at it and it payed off.
Higgs - 8, No mistakes, commanding and seemed a lot better than casper
Crowe - 8, Battled very well, improvement on richardson
Rui - 7, Solid, just like the rui
Kinsorbo - 7, Still dont know how to say his name, don't know if its spelt right, but just like rui, solid.
Parker - 1, he got a 1 for showing up, did nothing, got injured, hobbled off.
Snodgrass - 8, brilliant, as usual, running at players, decent balls in.
Doyle - 7, tough tackler, shit distributer
Howson - 8, did well today, can't fault him.
Johnson - 7, Did well at times, can't fault him either
Becchio - 7, usual becchio, didn't seem there at times
Beckford - 9, should of had 5 to be honest.
It wont let me start a new topic so just bang it on for me fella if you would

Re Parker... did nothing???? how about the surging run past three players and the deft throughball to Beckford to set up the first goal??? Surely that was worth at least a 2

yeah parkers run to set up the first goal was the only time we showed a bit of imagination when attacking in the entire game!!
