to Gary Mac it seems,goin to be appointed Pompeys no 2 to Paul Hart....

Funnily enough were thinking few weeks back he could well be a decent no 2,now we,l see...

2 ex leeds players there now,good chance we could be playing them next season in a league fixture...

Wonder if Hart do get the boot soon,will Gary Mac be a given a go as the manager??

I'm quite surprised he has turned down a role as Scotlands number two, to be Portsmouth's number two. Job security is much safer in the Scotland role! But maybe he wanted day to day involvement and you never know he might be after the managers job very shortly.

Good luck to him, a Leeds legend that just didn't cut it as manager.

Look,s a no goer now,firstly Scotland now Pompey,2 job,s in space of week and as not taken any of them,not that surprised he stayed away from Pompey,But would have thought he,d have give the Scotland job a go..

If you want proof that a great player doesnt necessarily make a good manager look at Steve Staunton! The minute my Dad and I heard that he was Macca's no.2 we just looked at each other and sid "Thats us screwed!"
I think Macca's problem was that he wanted to play premier league football in League 1 and you just cant do that!!! League one is not pretty football by any means, its just abot grinding out results!
Grayson, because of his time at Blackpool has a much better understanding of this league and is doing a fantastic job!

But I still Love Macca!

I kinda feel a bit sorry for scotland! You would think that they can do better! And Burley comes across as being a really nice guy! maybe he is too nice. they need a miracle!

Whoever they could have as manager,one thing remains,you only have a limited squad of players to work with,ala wales/northern ireland etc etc
