Gillingham-aftermatch discussionWonder if Naylor will return,if he comes through reserve game v Boro ,pretty sure its tomorrow
Bromby gave away penalty last friday,so by sounds of it were not too convincing,or will Naylor be on bench and Rui if fit, start alongside kisnorbo...?
Crowe went off other night, will Brombly maybe come in at right back??

Bromby played well on Friday - thought he was a trifle unlucky with the penalty. And when Crowe went off just after half time he made a more than adequate deputy at right back. Plus I like the idea of having a long throw for when we get deperate.
I suspect he won't rush Naylor back though. Lubo did fine at Southend in the second half too so assuming Crowe and Rui aren't fit I'd be surprised if it's not: Bromby RB, Kis CB, Lubo CB, Hughes RB on Saturday.

Totally agree with that. Though I think he'll more often than not find room for Bromby in that back 4 somewhere... Will be interesting when Parker and White are back fit to see what our genuine first choice back 4 would be.

Rui missing again tomorrow,so imo either bromby or naylor will play alongside kisnorbo tomorrow...

Bromby Michelik Kisnorbo Hughes will IMO be the starting back four
Naylor will be on the bench...

Embarresment of riches at the back now, were not conceding goals so chopping and changing at the moment would send the wrong message IMO

Johnson on fire so far, good to see goals from midfield area,Leicester had it last season, where midfield chipped in,along with strikers....

not alot to say about today was a good win against a very poor gillingham side. It was all a little too easy to be honest. We had our usual little wobble and started to flap a bit when they scored but all in all very comfortable. Kisnorbo was excellent I thought. Other than that thought everyone else was work man like and put in decent performances without ever really stretching themselves or needing to.
Crowd was also a little flat with one eye i thought on tuesday, especially with chants of 'are you watching liverpool' and 'bring on the scousers'.
Met Del before the game too which was good and tried not to sweat on him too much (billys bar was fucking roasting). Throughly nice chap!
