Probably right mate,but a world cup with England in it is a bit more interesting than not qualifying.
I'm not saying we can win it.but capello is the most clued up manager we have had for some time...

Bein Welsh,we,ve never actually reached a tournament in my lifetime... 
More so with Toshack in Charge,Brian flynn,s doin a great job with under 21,s beat italy 2-1 last week,imo with young talent in that side,with a few younger lads in senior side now,Flynn be my choice to take over if Toshack jacks it in...

Being in my mid-30s, I think I can genuinely say this is the most consistently impressive and exciting England team I've seen in my lifetime. I've never really gone into any major tournament thinking we were much more than an outside bet.
I actually think we can win it. Not saying we will - but I think we can. Of course, we could also go out on penalties in the 2nd, quarters or semis - football can't be predicted that well. But looking across Europe - us and Holland and Spain look good bets.
Mind you, The Sun front page this morning pissed me right off:
"We're going Tutu Sth. Africa"
"Get De Beers In!"
FFS. Simple minded Little England tits.
Oh, and Lennon was impressive. Interesting choice between him and Walcott. Think a fully fit Walcott has the edge - he's a better finisher imo - but could be interesting to accomodate them both...

Watched highlights and the media or shall i say commentators were goin bit ott,Don,t get me wrong England Played well,but Croatia nowadays are not the team they were 2 or so years ago,Guy commentating on match,said England on this form look world cup winners,thing is next summer,they,l be playing far better opposition than last night,the likes of Spain,Brazil etc etc,and we know in past after the hype,usually fall short,hopefully though with a decent manager in capello,they,l go on and do really well,the climate/conditions there should suit them.....
