Deadline Day thread-(merged)Signs on a 4 yr deal from blunts...Have heard of bromby know he had 2 spells @ blunts and were at watford.... Have seen very little of him play tbh,so in no situation to judge what hes like as a player.... From what ive read can play a few positions which is always handy,and should be a good addition especially @ league 1 level,and judging by contract he,s been given,Grayson feels he,l be of use in CCC should we get there..... Grayson seems to rate him,so happy to go along whatever he thinks as hes done pretty damn well what hes brought into club so far... |

Yeah were mentioned on yorkshire radio other night by grayson,he did have a little set back few weeks back,but now is training again... Wonder if he,l risk him saturday,with no kisnorbo or rui on saturday,its goin to be Bromby and 1 other,more than likely lubo imo..

Yeah saw him play down @ newport for our youth/reserve side,looked lively and scored a nice goal in our 2-0 win.... Coaching staff all impressed so worth the gamble,could turn out to be a very good bit of business... |

Expected Beckford to stay and he as... Disappointed though we could not rid the club of Kandol and Sheehan at least on a longer loan deal..... Bromby should prove to be useful addition to squad.... Somma,as grayson said we decided to take gamble and see where it takes us... Chris Taylor were rumoured,but may well have been fitness issues which stopped him coming,or more than likely fee oldham would have wanted,Would,nt at all be surprised if we,re linked again with him in January..... Viduka on pay as you play would have been a risk,his injury record last few years been shocking,Grayson did say there were nothing in story,just some rumour started by some tw@t on waccoe site... Heffernan were linked heavily,but nowt came of it,like taylor i expect us to be linked again with him come January,could be a useful addition as back up for 2nd half of season...... It,s over 
now we can relax and enjoy the season ahead

Saw on the BBC site, that fans had claimed that Beckford had been seen at 27 different clubs by dinner time - made me laugh.
Nice and quiet as we all expected - Loan window is still open for a while so I'd expect some of the deadwood to be moved out then. |
